Kick off the 2026 Port Stephens Car Show the right way with a great feed, plenty of bench racing and a night in the company of one of Australian motorsport’s true legends.
The Welcome Night Dinner rolls into Nelson Bay Bowling and Recreation Club on Friday, July 10 from 6pm, setting the tone for a huge weekend of cool cars and good times.
Special guest John Bowe brings more than 50 years of racing experience to the stage, with an impressive resume that includes Bathurst victories, Australian Touring Car Championship success and countless highlights across one of the most respected careers in Australian motorsport. Guests will enjoy a two-course meal and a lively Q&A hosted by Andrew Maclean, with plenty of stories from a life spent at full throttle.
The evening also features a live charity auction, with every dollar raised going directly to the Mark Hughes Foundation. The Foundation funds vital brain cancer research, raises awareness and helps improve outcomes for Australians affected by the disease.
Grab your seat early and help kick off one of the country’s favourite coastal car shows in style. Tickets are $100 per person, with individual seats available and tables of up to 10.
