MADDIE’S KOOL CAR & BIKE CRUISE

For Madeline Issell, the opportunity to travel to Borneo in May 2027 represents far more than an overseas trip. Through her school, the 16-year-old has been selected to take part in a program supporting local communities and wildlife, with students encouraged to fundraise and work towards paying their own way to better understand commitment, effort, and reward.

Coming from a three-generation car family where hot rods and kustoms fill the shed, Madeline’s path to fundraising was always going to be a little different. After plenty of discussion, the decision was made to create Maddie’s Kool Car & Bike Cruise, a grassroots event driven by passion and community.

The event will be held on October 10, 2026, featuring an approximately 50km cruise, finishing at the Inverleigh Hotelfor lunch. The day will also include raffles, a small art auction, and a trophy presentation, with awards chosen by Madeline, the Inverleigh Hotel, and Victoria Police. The event will be ASRF-sanctioned.
