EASY POWER WITH EJR’S BIG CUBE CLEVO

EJR Performance’s new C427-T Cleveland Touring Package is showing exactly what they set out to achieve.

The goal was simple: big cubic inches, 10.5:1 compression, a low air-gap intake, 2V cylinder heads, and a target of 550 flywheel horsepower. It’s a combination aimed squarely at real street performance, translating to roughly 450 horsepower at the tyres, not an over-the-top race-only engine. After refining the timing curve and carburettor jetting, the engine settled exactly where it belongs, producing 586 horsepower at 6000rpm and 554lb-ft of torque at 4000rpm. The dyno graph tells the real story, with a flat, usable torque curve and a smooth, steady climb in horsepower right through the rpm range. This is the sort of package that suits a heavy muscle car perfectly.

Big cubic inches, plenty of torque, and relaxed enough to just cruise and enjoy.

It's only fair to share…
