DYNAMITE DEUCE WINS AMBR 2026

At the 2026 Grand National Roadster Show, Nicole Baird’s 1932 Ford Roadster claimed the coveted America’s Most Beautiful Roadster (AMBR) title, standing out among nine elite contenders.

Built by Squeeg’s Kustoms around a genuine steel ‘32 body, the metallic blue pearl paint is accented by crisp white scallops, which are carried seamlessly across the chassis, floor, and even the fuel tank. The proportions remain unmistakably classic, enhanced by subtle modifications, a 4-inch chopped windshield, and a hand-built aluminium top. Piecrust slicks on chrome steelies (15-inch front, 16-inch rear) give the car a stance that’s pure old school, but sharpened for the show floor.

Power comes from a beautifully detailed 401 Buick Nailhead, topped with vintage-style Hilborn injection, discreetly updated with modern EFI and a Holley Terminator ECU for drivability. It’s backed by a 700R4 transmission and 9-inch rear, all built around a custom ‘32-style chassis. Inside, a 1957 Thunderbird column and wheel pair with Stewart-Warner gauges set in a Dale Grau insert. The extensive list of hand-built components includes motor mounts, steering drop, chassis, exhaust, and body details.

“The car just looks right. It’s over the top without looking like it’s trying hard, and we suspect that’s why it was selected as America’s Most Beautiful Roadster of 2026,” suggested Hot Rod journalist John McGann.

It's only fair to share…
