ROLL ON MARSH RODDERS

One of Victoria’s biggest grassroots hot rod gatherings is firing up again, with the Marsh Rodders Show & Shine and Swap Meet returning to Maddingley Park, Bacchus Marsh, on Sunday, October 18.

Now in its 29th year, this much-loved fixture has come a very long way from the modest 50–80 car gathering of its early days. Last year more than 650 vehicles were estimated to have rolled through the gates, turning Maddingley Park into a sea of hot rods, customs, classics, bikes and anything else deemed worthy of a Sunday polish.

The swap meet gets cracking from 6.30am, with public entry from 7am, so bargain hunters will want to set the alarm before the good stuff disappears. Trade stands are also welcome, while presentations kick off at 12.30pm.

Show entry is $20 per vehicle, swap sites are $25 each, public admission is just $5, and kids under 16 are free with a paying adult.

With strong local support, plenty to see and almost three decades of experience behind it, the Marsh Rodders have the formula well sorted. Just remember: blatantly unroadworthy vehicles need not apply!
