BUNDABERG’S BIG WEEKEND!

Queensland’s cruising calendar is already shaping up for a big 2026, and the Bargara Beach Campout is locked in as one of the must-do long weekend runs of the year.

Hosted by Rum City Rods & Customs Inc, this laid-back coastal gathering rolls into Bargara Beach across the King’s Birthday Long Weekend from October 2–5, bringing together hot rods, classics, customs, bikes and historic tin for four days of cruising, camping and good times by the seaside.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Bundaberg coastline, the weekend is built around more than just parked-up cars. Expect cruises, a garage crawl, mystery cruise, campout atmosphere and plenty of socialising with fellow revheads who enjoy driving their rides as much as showing them off. Whether you’re rolling in with a polished street rod, a tough cruiser or an old-school survivor, the event welcomes all kinds of cool machinery.

The headline attraction is Sunday’s massive “Auto-Mazing” Car Show, expected to pack the foreshore with an impressive spread of rods, customs, bikes and classics. Add in the ocean views, relaxed beach-town vibe and a packed long weekend schedule, and it’s easy to see why this one’s gaining momentum fast.
