GET DIRTY. BE FILTHY. CHOPPED!
If the sound of open pipes, screaming engines and flying dirt gets your pulse racing, CHOPPED 2026 should be firmly circled on the calendar.
CHOPPED returns to the Carisbrook Racecourse & Recreation Reserve for another full-throttle celebration of traditional hot rods, customs, motorcycles, music and good old-fashioned mechanical mischief. The legendary Dirt Drags will once again provide plenty of sideways entertainment, joined by the Gasser Elimination Shootout, Show ’n’ Shine and cackle action — because apparently simply starting an angry old race car and making everyone’s ears ring is now considered entertainment. We approve.
Away from the track, there’s the Chopp’A’Rama Tattoo & Motorcycle Invitational, vendors, live bands, camping and the Young Henrys Tiki Tavern, making CHOPPED as much a weekend-long party as it is a car show.
It’s rough around the edges, proudly old-school and refreshingly short on lawn chairs and polishing cloths. Bring your mates, bring your earplugs and perhaps don’t wear your best white sneakers.
CHOPPED 2026 runs September 18–20 at Carisbrook Racecourse & Recreation Reserve, 337 Bucknall Street, Carisbrook, Victoria. Full event information is available at chopped.com.au, or contact the organisers at info@chopped.com.au or 0409 588 006.
