One of the best options for improving a vehicle’s handling dynamics is to upgrade the sway bar, also known as a stabiliser bar. Heavy-duty sway bars with a thicker diameter, compared to the original factory-fitted unit, will perform better at reducing body roll during cornering, providing better stability at speed. Increasing lateral stability ensures that the tyres have as much contact with the road surface as possible, which in turn helps to reduce unwanted understeer.
