CRUZIN MAGAZINE

CRUZIN MAGAZINE #229

Yeehar! If the thought of blasting across a dry lake like Judy Watson in her 1932 Ford doesn’t get your buns-a-burnin’, you’re dead! The story of Judy and how this Rolling Bones-built tudor came together is amazing. The amazing doens’t end there however, equally intriguing is the tale of Allan Clarke’s custom FJ, a car he started building 50 years ago! I don’t think any of us can really understand what it meant for him to roll it into the Victorian Hot Rod Show early this year, and subsequently appear on the cover of this edition. The pleasure is all ours.

We also check out a pretty neat steel bodied 1934 Chevy coupe, ironically we also visit FibreChev in Wangaratta who specialise in making fibreglass versions. Other feature cars include a slammed Single Spinner and ’37 Ford pickup that doubles as a work ute.

Our coverage of the Flatlands Motorama, a unique custom car show in the Netherlands, raises the notion that maybe the grass really is greener on the other side! Amazing cars and an amazing venue. We also cruise Cooly Rocks On, and even snuck in a small piece in the motorcycle beach racing at Sellicks Beach in South Australia.

Last but not least, we take a stroll through Road Devil’s member, Gino Beletic’s man cave and talk about the treasures within.
