EDELBROCK ELITE II SERIES AT SUMMIT
Edelbrock’s Elite Series valve covers and air cleaners have been jazzing up V8 engines for 40 years, but it was time for a fresh take – the Elite II Series.
Made from heavy-gauge, die-cast aluminium like the originals, they have a high-lustre polished finish and the classic raised fins. Edelbrock removed the simulated bolts for a more sophisticated look that’s right at home with today’s engine compartments. The Elite II tall-style valve covers are two inches taller than stock and clear most roller rockers and valve train components. The low-profile covers will clear all air-conditioning, alternator brackets, and most aluminium rockers.
Elite II valve covers are available for small- and big-block Chevy, small-block Ford, Ford FE, and big-block Chrysler engines. A matching breather is also available. Matching air cleaners are available in round or oval styles for single- and dual-quad carburettors and feature a 2.5-inch-tall Pro-Flo filter element.
