AUTOMOTIVE CAREERS EXPO BRISBANE

High school students from across Brisbane will get the chance to explore the many exciting career opportunities available in the automotive industry, with the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) partnering with Capricorn to host a free Automotive Careers Expo.

The event will take place on Thurs, 22 May at the RNA Showgrounds, giving young automotive enthusiasts the opportunity to connect with local businesses and explore career pathways across the sector. From motorcycles and light vehicles to trucks and agricultural machinery, it’s an exciting time for the industry. This dynamic expo will highlight emerging technologies and offer attendees the chance to engage with businesses and suppliers, while exploring diverse career paths in the industry.

Successful expos held in various Queensland locations, engaging over 700 students and families. ​Many participants secured work experience and apprenticeship opportunities through connections made at these events. Representatives from Australian Apprenticeship Support Networks and Registered Training Organisations will be on hand to provide guidance on Vocational Education Training pathways. ​
