SYDNEY HOT ROD SHOW ANNOUNCES ONE DAY EVENT

The Hot Rod and Custom Auto Expo will undergo a significant change in 2026, reverting to a one-day event. The show will still encompass all of the favourite elements, like elite builds, the who’s who of Sydney’s hot rod clubs, and the always popular nostalgia lane, but it will all be jam-packed into one huge Saturday, on May 23, 2026.

“After taking in all the feedback over the past couple of years and giving it some serious thought, we’ve decided to shake things up a bit,” announced the show’s creators, Andy and Donna Minas. “We’re going all in on one massive day to celebrate everything we love about custom rides, hot rods, and two-wheel beasts. Yes, we know, it’s a big shift, but we reckon this change is what the show needs to stay alive and kicking. Let’s be real, some of the world’s best shows run for just one day and absolutely crush it.”
