CRUZIN MAGAZINE #287
Schmick hot rods, full house lowriders, sliced up Holdens – it’s a mixed bag this month, but a good one!
Melbourne’s Robert Formosa’s love of lowriding shines bright on his 1960 Chevy Impala on the cover of this edition, but not to be outdone is the Bones-style ’34 Ford of Californian Justin Linares.
But everything is a knockout in this issue, including Jim Wolstencroft’s reimagined 1929 Ford pickup and Anthony Fuller’s radically reshaped FJ. If you see a glow in the far north, it’s not the northern lights, but more likely Russell Prince’s ‘Law Breaker’ 1934 Chevy delivery!
We also soak up the atmosphere at the first-ever Road Lords Kustom Park’em Up, spotto some multi-generational activity from the recent Street Rod Nationals, and squeeze in a small tribute to hot rodder John Beer.
Alan Barton introduces us to the earliest of hot rodding kits in Model Citizens, Norm updates us on the Bonneville plans of a handful of Aussies and Kiwis, and also from across the ditch, Craig ‘Style’ Counsell gives us a snapshot of the annual Soprano’s Hot Rod Picnic. We also welcome back Lori Lee Cash to the crew, along with her column Motorvatin’ Music.
It’s all in Cruzin #287, out now. Grab it at your local, or buy online at https://www.drivebuy.net.au/collections/cruzin-magazine and pay no postage within Australia!
