CAE Performance’s Chev small block left-hand side starter motor conversion (Part no. G/R-01/LHS/SB) is ideal when implanting Chevy V8s into early Commodores, but suitable for other applications as well. It mounts in the location of the original oil filter and is compatible with both 153 and 168-tooth ring gears. This starter motor is available in power outputs of 1.4, 2, and 2.2 kW and requires a remote oil filter setup.
