Following on from the popularity of The Test Run, the invitational Reliability Run strictly for traditional, pre-war hot rods, Michael Morris is hosting another invitational directed at pre-69 traditional kustoms. A stock, lowered car won’t be accepted – vehicles must have some custom body modifications, such as a roof chop, channelling, frenched or kustom lights, kustom grilles, louvres, and other styling tricks typically practiced back in the day. Michael is keen to assemble a group of vehicles and owners who share his passion for old school kustom cars, be it mild or wild, American, Aussie, or whatever.
The Tail Dragger Invitational is on the weekend of March 8-10, and based on NSW’s Central Coast. It’s an entrant-only event, so if you and your vehicle fit the profile, you should contact him at email@example.com. There’s no public show day sorry, but there is a good chance you’ll spot most of ‘em at Donut Derelicts on the Sunday morning at Cafe Pennoz in Tuggerah, jusy sayin’!
