DLRA Speedweek 2020 at Lake Gairdner, is shaping up to be our biggest yet, with several teams from the USA already committed. Speedweek 2020 is Australia’s 30th anniversary of the event, so mate, if this is on your bucket list, what better one to attend!
Some founding members are still racing and others only recently retired. Most are still heavily involved in the event and an integral part of the continuing success of the event and the club.
DLRA Speedweek will be held from Monday March 23rd to Friday 27th, followed by three days of the World Speed Trials. This is only the second time the World Speed Trials have ran in Australia, again, mate, what are you waiting for!
Entries for both events are now open, and I bet you have enough loved engine parts and panels in your shed to make it fly! If you want to find out more check out www.dlra.org.au or come along to our next general meeting, Sunday 15th December at the Northern Street Rods club rooms in Thomastown Victoria, all are truly welcome. We’ll even give you a sausage in bread!
Also, don’t forget there is a working bee at Lake Gairdner in November. It’s a great way to get involved and meet other racers.
