Rat Finks Hot Rod & Custom Club Australia together with Decathlon Tempe, are making a difference and fundraising for Rural Aid Ltd. Although most of us are not affected first hand by the current drought crisis, together we can make a difference to those who are.
On 24th November 2019, Rat Finks Hot Rod & Custom Club will be hosting a fundraiser car show, “Rods for Rural Aid”, at Decathlon’s Tempe, NSW location, to put towards their overall target of $10,000.”
“100% of funds raised is going directly to rural aid,” says Leanne Long from Rat Finks. “Rat Finks felt these farmers need help so let’s do something. We are aiming to raise $10,000. On the scale of things this is not a lot of money, but every bit helps.”
Over $1,500 has already been donated and progress can be tracked at https://www.ruralaid.org.au/donate/?supporter_id=11661&fbclid=IwAR3B2j1ZjwIGCVFWUE_B3_0wtgAx3nMdeTdrnpVwNKz64EL0rbmDQ1u9_tk. Personal donations can also be made via this page, or of course on the day of the show.
“As much as we look forward to the success of this event, we cannot do so without the help & support of others. Whether it’s big or small, we’d appreciate any contribution. Your donation will assist us toward reaching our $10,000 goal.”
The fundraising event will take place at Decathlon Sports Warehouse at 634-726 Princes Hey, Tempe, on Sunday, 24th November, from 8am until noon. There will be awards for Hot Rod, Street Rod, Rat Rod, Custom Car, Classic Car, Muscle Car and Promoter’s Choice as well as a raffle on the day. The event is ASRF Sanctioned.
