We received this letter from Bree Napier in regards to locating her late Grandfather’s hot rod. If any readers can assist, please contact Bree directly...

Hello there, I wonder if you might be able to help me at all. I came across Cruzin Magazine while trying to locate my late grandfather’s hot rod, a yellow 1934 Ford coupe. I am trying to locate the car as a surprise for my Dad and Aunty’s 50th birthday; they are twins and unfortunately lost their father when they were only 14 years old. We were able to locate the car about 20 years ago when it was owned by a man in Greystanes in NSW.

Previously the number plate was GM730, although that’s unfortunately now attached to a different car. Given this, its possible that the previous owner has sold the car or it’s no longer registered. Originally built in Mortdate, NSW by Roger Napier, an article was published in the paper at the time. I’ve attached the article from the paper and our last photo of the car.

I completely understand that this is a long-shot but I would very much appreciate any advice you have to be able to track down the car. It would be a hugely sentimental experience for me and my family.

Thank you so much in advance.

Bree Napier.
