The countdown is on for the Queenscliff Rod Run, marked for February 1,2 and 3, 2019. Perfectly poised to take advantage of the warm summer weather, Queenscliff is a full weekend blast with a Friday night welcome BBQ, Saturday lunch run, Saturday evening street cruise and that massive Sunday show and shine at Lower Princess Park. Of course it’s the Saturday night city cruise that usually gets all the publicity, such an awesome place to grab a feed and watch the constant parade from 5pm onwards, with live music from 7.30pm.
Open to all hot rods and customs up to and including 1965, you’ll have to pre-enter to party, with earlybird entries closing next Wednesday, January 9, and entries closing for good on Wednesday, January 23. All the info and the entry form is on the Geelong Street Rodders website – www.geelongstreetrodders.com.au. If you need further info, contact Greg Morrissey on 0409 955 348 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the meantime, check out these pics by Tim Prendergast who was on hand last year to shoot some cruising action!
