THE LINELOCKERS TO ROCK REVIVAL IN FIRST QUEENSLAND SHOW

Here’s a hot new rockabilly trio from Lismore NSW with a passion for authentic and raw rockabilly and hardwood-floor honky-tonk.

The trio has been making their mark playing cool vintage music in country towns throughout NSW, and the regional rockabilly fans are crawling out of the woodwork for some good-time tunes.

Although not related, the trio fit together like brothers, with a cool chemistry both on and off stage. As well as tinkering with big box guitars and bull fiddles, The Linelockers also share a love of vintage vehicles.

Guitarist Jimmy Mac is working on his 1958 Dodge with a 440 upgrade and should have it on the road soon. Double bass player, Tom Veness owns a 1940 Plymouth Business Coupe and is currently tricking up the original flathead 6 running twin carbs. Drummer Adam is a handy spanner man and has done up a number of cars.

The Linelockers are looking to record in 2018 as well as hitting the road for more rockabilly and hot rod events, starting with the Redlands Rockabilly Revival, which will be their first show in Queensland.

Catch them when they hit the stage at the Redlands Rockabilly Revival, Sunday March 11 at Redland Showgrounds.
