David Freiburger and Steve Dulcich love to build, beat on, and dyno test engines on their Engine Masters video series. That’s why Summit Racing is pleased to announce that they have joined the fun as the Official Parts Retailer for Engine Masters.
Part of the Motor Trend channel that features shows like Roadkill, Dirt Every Day, and Hot Rod Garage, Engine Masters is all about finding which engine modifications and upgrades make power and which don’t—and most importantly, why. David and Steve test everything from simple bolt-ons to more advanced techniques like thinner piston rings and home-ported cylinder heads. They’ve done header, camshaft, and supercharger shootouts and tried to blow up engines with tons of nitrous, all in the name of horsepower science.
“Summit Racing helps enthusiasts get the most performance for their hard-earned dollar, which is what David and Steve do on Engine Masters,” explained Nan Gelhard, Summit Racing Advertising and PR Manager. “Engine builders get to see which upgrades work, then they can find the parts they need at Summit Racing and know they will make power.”
Summit Racing will offer Engine Masters Parts Combos for select episodes, giving enthusiasts a convenient way to get the major components to duplicate an engine build or upgrade their existing engines. We’ve posted combos for Episodes 23, 24, and 25.
Engine Masters episodes are posted about once a month, first on Motor Trend on Demand, then on Motor Trend’s free YouTube channel approximately 30 days later. You can find previous Engine Masters YouTube episodes here.
